Gordon’s gin is named after the Scot Alexander Gordon, who was one of the first to select the ingredients and develop the technology for producing gin of the highest quality category. The history of Gordon's gin dates back to 1769, when Alexander Gordon's trading company was founded. His insistence on quality and the exceptional performance of the product itself have earned him an excellent reputation. In 1925, King George V awarded the Gordon's brand the privilege of being a supplier to the Royal Household. This tradition continues to this day: Gordon's right to supply gin to the Royal Family has been confirmed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Her Majesty the Queen Mother.
All the features of the recipe created by Alexander Gordon are carefully preserved to this day. And although London dry gin is more than 240 years old, it is produced in strict accordance with a recipe from 1769. Today Gin Gordon's is the world's most famous London dry gin. Gordon's Gin is distilled in traditional copper pot stills. Keeping their design intact helps maintain the consistent quality of the gin. Gordon's still operates one of the first stills - "Old Tom" as it is called. He was a contemporary of King George III.
Gordon’s Gin is clear and shiny in color. The taste has an impeccable balance of juniper and citrus tones, creating an overall feeling of “coldness”. Drink strength: 37.5°. Gin tends to be high in strength and the flavor of gin is very strong, which is why gin is rarely consumed neat and makes an excellent base for cocktails. Currently, Gordon's gin is the leader in sales in the gin category and is successfully sold in 150 countries around the world.
